Wireless Network Security Boot Camp

The goal of our six-day accelerated Wireless Network Security course is to educate networking and information security professionals on how to build a secure, cost-effective, reliable wireless LAN.

Gartner estimates there will be more than 151,000 wireless hotspots by the year 2005. The wireless network market continues to grow because of the additional productivity that wireless network access brings to any organization, but properly trained and certified individuals are needed to make networks secure, cost-effective, and reliable.

Certified Wireless Network Administrator™
The Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification (CWNA) is the premier vendor-neutral designation, covering a broad range of wireless LAN topics focused on 802.11 wireless technology.

During the program, students will live, learn, and take certification examinations at one of our state-of-the-art education centers.  This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review)™ delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the Certified Computer Examiner examination.

Our Wireless Network Security Program:

Helps students grasp complex technical concepts more easily by identifying and catering to individual student learning styles through a mixed visual, auditory and kinesthetic-tactual delivery system
Enhances retention by employing accelerated learning techniques focused on committing information to long-term memory
Allows you to achieve your certification in half the time of 'traditional training' while delivering industry-leading exam passing percentages

Wireless Network Security Camp: Exam Track

The CWNA exam (Exam# PW0-100) consists of 90 multiple choice and multiple answer, delivered randomly. A score of 70% is required to pass the exam (Instructors must score at least 80%). The scope of an individual's understanding of wireless LAN networking will be evident if they achieve a passing score on the exam due to the diversity and complexity of the exam. The exam covers a broad range of knowledge and even gets down to some distinct level of detail in some areas.
The following chart provides the breakdown of the CWNA exam as to the weight of each section of the exam.

    Subject Area % of Exam
    Radio Frequency (RF) Technologies 24%
    Wireless LAN Technologies  17%
Wireless LAN Implementation and Management 30%
    Wireless LAN Security 16%
Wireless LAN Industry and Standards 13%
    Total 100%
