Citrix is a leader in thin-client/server computing and training. These courses provide theoretical and practical instruction in preparation for the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or Citrix
Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) exams. Both the MetaFrame and WinFrame environments are addressed.

Citrix MetaFrame Certification Training Course Paths CCA CCEA
Citrix Certified Administrator ( CCA ) Path
System Administrators, Citrix resellers and business affiliates, and independent consultants will find that the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) program is an excellent credential. It
provides product expertise by ensuring the highest level of instruction on Citrix products. CCAs are highly skilled industry professionals that have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of Citrix
MetaFrame XP 1.0 for Windows, Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 for Windows, Citrix MetaFrame 1.1 for UNIX Operating Systems, or Citrix WinFrame 1.8.
Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator ( CCEA ) Path
The CCEA program is an advanced technical certification that builds on the Citrix Certified
Administrator (CCA) program. The CCEA program expands your knowledge of Citrix products and gives you even more extensive experience installing and administering Citrix products such
as Citrix Management Services, Load Balancing Services, Program Neighborhood and Citrix NFuse.

CTX-302.2 Citrix MetaFrame Administration
This 3-day course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform advanced administrative tasks in a MetaFrame environment. Students receive in-depth training
on MetaFrame's enterprise-scale management, heterogeneous client and network connectivity, as well as seamless desktop capabilities.
It covers such topics as performance optimization, Program Neighborhood, Load Balancing and
advanced system management. It also provides students with the prerequisite knowledge and skills required for future continuing education curriculum and is the preparation course for the
Citrix Certified Administrator exam for MetaFrame certification. This course covers both MetaFrame 1.0 and 1.8 products.

CTX-1211: Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 to MetaFrame XP: Skills Update
CTX-1211 is an update to CTX-1210 and includes product information on MetaFrame XP Feature Release 1. This course is for administrators who are familiar with Citrix MetaFrame 1.8
and offers training on the features and functions of Citrix MetaFrame XP including Feature Release 1.
This course will cover some of the same material as the CTX-1221 course; however, CTX-1211 students must either be a Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 or must
have previously attended CTX-302.2, Citrix MetaFrame Administration.

CTX-2300: Citrix Securing Application Deployment over the Internet
This one-day course is intended for experienced Citrix MetaFrame XP™ software network and system administrators. It offers a comprehensive look at the latest advances in Citrix security
technology and provides hands-on instruction in securing the ICA® connection using digital certificates in conjunction with Citrix® Secure Gateway (CSG).
CSG is an application-specific proxy that acts as a secure Internet gateway for all ICA data traveling in and out of a Citrix MetaFrame XP enabled corporate environment. With your
knowledge of CSG, you will be able to make firewall traversal easier, provide heightened security with SSL/TLS encryption, simplify application deployment, and enable tight integration
with Citrix MetaFrame XP and Citrix NFuse® Classic.

CTX-410/401: Citrix Resource Mgmt Services Administration and Advanced Citrix Server Implementation
This 4-day course leads to CCEA Certification. CTX-410 provides students with comprehensive knowledge of Citrix products & server-based computing. This portion of the class emphasizes the enterprise.
CTX-401 covers installation of Resource Management Services, a non-platform specific software package. CTX-401 also teaches installation of ODBC, and administration of the backend database to which RMS connects.

Citrix Enterprise/NFuse Combination
This five-day course is intended for the CCA XP certified individual to become CCEA certified within a five day period. This advanced technical certification will expand the students
knowledge of Citrix products and provide an even more extensive experience installing and administering Citrix products such as, Citrix MetaFrame XP, Citrix MetaFrame, Citrix
WinFrame and Citrix management products for an enterprise environment.
This course combines CTX-2622 (2 days, MetaFrame XPe Enterprise Management), CTX-2300 (1 day Securing Application Development Over the Internet), and CTX-7130 (2 day, Nfuse
Classic Administation).
