3COM Track

Master of Network Science Program

OVERVIEW

3Com developed the Master of Network Science Credential Program to recognize proficiency in 3Com-specific networking solutions. It is the highest-level technical certification, awarded to individuals, not to companies.

The MNS Credential shows that you are fully qualified to design, build and support 3Com networks. It demonstrates to your colleagues and customers, to employers and staff, to us at 3Com and, not the least, to yourself, that you are extremely competent at your job.

AUDIENCE

The MNS Program is meaningful to anyone for whom a proven, high level of competency in 3Com solutions will be valuable. It is meant to complement the real-world work activity of the participant; two years experience with 3Com networking products is helpful in achieving a Credential

The MNS Program is relevant for both pre-sale technicians and post-sale trouble-shooters. It is relevant for engineers working for medium or large size end user companies, 3Com Partners or internal 3Com employees.

TRACKS

The MNS Program is designed for the way people work in the real world; to be directly relevant to the specific job the individual is doing within a networking environment. Clearly, different expertise is required when working with different technologies.

The Network Architecture MNS Credential recognizes your competency in all the technologies and products available from 3Com, with emphasis on great breadth rather than depth of knowledge. Products covered in the track include OfficeConnect®, SuperStack® II, CoreBuilder™, PathBuilder®, TotalControl™ and Transcend® Enterprise Manager.
